First generation of X5 (e53) was launched in 1999, and this model was 7 years on market. This was the first BMW SUV model, and the producing of e53 was at the time when BMW owned Land Rover!! It shared components with Land Rover Range Rover HSE model (per example HDS -Hill Descent System and so on, plenty components inside the car..) A facelifted version was released for the 2004 year model!!!
E70 was second X5 model released in 2006, and it has many new technological advancements including BMW iDrive system !!!
Model F15 is the third generation of BMW X5, unveiled on 30 May 2013 !!
The new model is using same chasis with same wheelbase of previous generation and it is launched with initial choice of three engines: V 8 with 450 HP petrol, and two diesel engines: 6-cyilinder in line engine with 258 HP, and second 381 HP bi-turbo engine!!
